Portland is an important distribution center for import and export, and has a long history with the tech industry with over 1,200 companies currently operating in Portland. It’s a city you have to experience yourself, begin today.
In a city as green as Portland, there is always a great outdoor space to enjoy for the home gardener or avid hiker. Spend the afternoon at the International Rose Test Garden or spend the day hiking one of the beautiful trails just minutes from downtown Portland. You don't have to venture far from town to enjoy the great outdoors.
It's no surprise that WE Local chose Portland especially when it’s very hard to not eat local in Portland, and harder to resist all the amazing food. Make time to visit the well-known donut shop, Voodoo Donuts and check out the dozens of food trucks for some tasty, local treats!
FOR THE FAMILY
Families will find lots to enjoy in Portland. From hands on science at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry to the 2,200 animals to be seen at the Oregon Zoo--the kids won't know what to say when you ask, "What did you enjoy the most today?" But before you go, stop by Slappy Cakes to make pancakes on the in-table griddle.
