TriMet information can be found here: MAX Light Rail Service. The “MAX” is Austin’s light rail system. The city also has street cars for downtown transportation. This is all synced to phone maps. The closest stop for Max is Pioneer Square.

The TriMet Max runs directly from the airport to downtown. The Max is equipped with a tap to pay systems, so there is no need to find a ticket counter. Tap any credit card at the green checkpoint to pay the $2.80 fare. Take the train ~40 minutes to Pioneer Courthouse Square, then walk 2 blocks south along Broadway to get to the Hilton.
