Some organizations are struggling to engage employees and retain talent therefore businesses and HR leaders are looking at workplace flexibility as a solution, as well as a competitive edge. There are several organizations that have made significant strides in implementing flexibility practices which include flexible work arrangements, extended time off for family leave, job share with a colleague and opportunities for career exit and re-entry. Each organization manages these career flexibility features differently and there is of course no one size fits all solution.
