
The WE Local Bengaluru Poster Competition provides undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to present their research and projects to a broad audience during the in-person conference. Students gain insight and receive live feedback and encouragement from others within the STEM fields.

Eligible participants are current undergraduate or graduate students. Those who are selected to exhibit at the conference will receive complementary entry, and those who are outside of the Bengaluru area will additionally receive a small stipend (approx. value of 15,000 INR) to support their attendance.
Frequently Asked Questions
University students who are in undergraduate or postgraduate programs are welcome to participate, including researchers and doctoral students. All disciplines are welcome.
Participating in a poster competition is an opportunity to showcase your work to a professional audience. Those who are selected to exhibit their poster on site will benefit from:

- Being recognized in your field and bring attention to your work
- FREE Access to the full conference learning and networking opportunities
- A stipend of up to 15,000 INR to offset travel costs for those outside of the Bengaluru area
You may still submit an abstract if your project or research is incomplete. Please note on your abstract that the project is in progress. In absence of final results and conclusions, please explain your design, simulation or validation of results.
After being selected to exhibit your poster in Bengaluru, SWE will provide a digital poster template which you will complete with all of the corresponding information. You will bring your printed poster for the on-site exhibition. The poster size will be A1 (23.4 x 33.1 in; 594 x 841 mm).
At the conference, a panel of judges will vote for the best poster and the overall winner will be invited on stage at the plenary on Friday morning to be recognized and receive an award.
The conference and poster competition will take place in person in Bengaluru at the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Centre on 27 and 28 April 2023.
