We acknowledge, with respect, that we gather on the ancestral homelands of the Potawatomi (Pot-tah-WAH-tah-mee), Ho-Chunk, and Menominee (Me-NOH-muh-nee) peoples. We are located near the shores of the Michigami (mish-ə-GAH-mee) or Lake Michigan, the largest system of freshwater lakes in North America, where the three rivers, Milwaukee, Menominee, and Kinnickinnic meet.

We honor with gratitude the land itself and the people who have been its stewards throughout the generations. We also honor their elders, past and present, as well as future generations.

We recognize Indigenous organizations such as American Indian Science & Engineering Society (AISES) who are doing this work.

This calls us to commit to continuing to learn how to be better stewards of the land we inhabit as well.

If you are flying into Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE), you are a ~30 minute drive from the airport to the Milwaukee Marriott West hotel.  There is no shuttle from the airport to the hotel, so it is recommended to rent a car or use a rideshare service for transport.

If you are driving, the Milwaukee Marriott West is conveniently located right off I-94 exit 295.  The hotel is a short drive from downtown Waukesha which has many eateries, activities, bars, and shops to explore.
